Mindful @ Work
We provide customized training in workplace mindfulness to meet your strategic objectives. Delivered live-online or in-person we take your group of employees, team or department through experiential training with research-based outcomes. Choose a single workshop or a series of workshops to provide your team with an opportunity to develop essential skills to be well and do well at work. Each workshop is highly experiential and leads to skill development, insight into how the mind functions at work and overall employee engagement.
Each workshop includes access to a learning management platform with digital resources, pre-work videos and assignments, and weekly touchpoint newsletters to further support engagement.
Workshop: Resilience & Stress Reduction
Work is becoming more complex and moving at a faster pace than ever, and studies are showing this is only going to increase. This workshop will introduce what mindfulness is and isn’t, how the brain reacts under stress and how mindfulness can help and will provide you with a toolkit of active mindful awareness practice that you can use in work and life.
Workshop: Communicating Mindfully
How can you remain focused on the meeting or the client speaking to you? How can you deal with challenging conversations and collaborate effectively? This workshop will provide you with simple and effective practice to support more effective communication and conflict resolution, and to help build deeper and more meaningful relationships.
Workshop: Focus at Work
Research is showing that multi-tasking is not only a myth, but it can also be harmful. Also, the way we work has changed dramatically with increased pace, communication and complexity affecting everyone. In this workshop we explore the research on multitasking and how it harms us, the neuroscience of focus, and practices that build the ability to focus at work.
Workshop: Managing Emotions
Emotional intelligence has been shown to comprise up to two-thirds of the skill required to perform effectively in knowledge work. This workshop will explore the neuroscience of emotions, how to develop an intelligence of emotions and engage in exercise that develop our ability to work mindfully with emotions in the moment.
Workshop: Managing Change
Humans simply don’t like change. Our brain’s crave stability and when uncertainty arises we enter stress mode. Yet change has now become a constant at work. This workshop will introduce how change affects neurophysiology and how we can begin to stay resilient and even thrive in uncertainty through perspective taking and mindfulness practice.
Workshop: Happiness & Joy
Leading neuroscientists have discovered that happiness is a skill, and it can be developed. Happiness also correlates directly with better health, relationships, and performance at work. We will explore the science of happiness, how to develop this important skill and introduce practice to sustain happiness and joy at work.
